Happiness comes from within,

Not from a friend,

Not because of some win,

But because you love yourself again.

The only love that’ll last until the end,

An immortal being will be the feeling.

You’ll start to feel negativity leering,

There will never be a love like yours.

Others might make you feel like a chore,

Make you feel ignored,

But there will never be a love so pure like yours.

Learning to love yourself a little bit more,

People around you will notice and try to absorb,

Looking down on those people like the Lord,

Remembering those days when you thought you needed their love before.

In reality, you just needed to love yourself to the core.
